Massive Book Makeover

It has been far too long since I’ve written a post. Far, far, too long!

I’ve been shut in my office working, working, working. This year has started off with quite the journey for me. My beloved psychological serial killer series has had a complete makeover!

The dark and twisted stories of a detective plagued with hallucinations of corpse faces on the hunt for serial killers with demented filters on reality remain untouched. The stories are delicious.

The packaging, the covers, the look and feel, have been completely redone. They look fabulous. They seep 80s Metal Murder.

Final Track and Acid Track have been revealed and remain available for your entertainment.

The third book, Back Track, will be unleashed upon the world soon! The cover reveal will be on June 2. The book will be launched on June 9. If you want in on the early access and exclusive online event, join Bon Julie’s rocking newsletter.

10 Days of Halloween – Metal Murder Movie Time!

Since this is the week leading up to Halloween, I’m devouring scary movies. I tend to stick to the ‘old school’ stuff. I love the 80s. This week I have ventured into the current year! Yes! And guess what? It’s not so bad.

Being an 80s metal head and a horror lover, I came across this absolute gem! If you love sassy characters, metal heads, and ritualistic murder…this is for you. Give it a go. The story is decent. I’ll admit, I was surprised a few times – the twists are well executed.

I LOVED the fact that it PROVED that metal isn’t dead. Really.

I LOVED the unexpected twists and turns.

I LOVED the unsettling ending…where you start to question what really happened.

Have you been watching scary movies? What’s your favourite? Any recommendations for Halloween night? I’d love to read your suggestions in the comments.

The First Corpse

The first corpse was found in the woods by a little girl with bouncing blonde curls and pink boots.

This first corpse yanked Detective Mahoney from his sunny side ups and hurled him into a dark vortex in one foul swoop.

The first corpse with long dark curls, painted porcelain skin, and deep intersecting lacerations marking the work of a sadist.

The first corpse is the one that will haunt Detective Mahoney until he finds the sick psycho that left the body on a bed of leaves. Continue reading
